The Vertical Mounting Plate features a built in cold shoe, 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads for mounting wireless video transmitters, on-board monitors, external microphones and other accessories while shooting in a standard horizontal configuration.

This plate can also be used in conjunction with the Quick Release Baseplate for Sony FX6 in order to mount the camera in a vertical configuration.

i love it

this definitely helps with mounting the fx6 vertically on a tripod or gimbal for instagram content. my clients want the fx6 quality, but want it vertically. this solved it for me! :)

Tilt Quality

I needed a Rode II wireless receiver placement plate for my FX6 cameras and the vertical mounting plate was exactly what I required. It exudes quality and the fit & finish is flawless as expected.
