Introducing the Camera Cage for Canon R6 V Power Kit
The foundation of this kit is the Full Camera Cage which features multiple mounting options include 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads with locating points, as well as a NATO rail and cold shoe receiver, which allow users to attach various accessories microphones, lights, monitors, and more.
A detachable dual-directional Arca-Swiss bottom plate enables fast mounting and easy positional adjustments on DJI standard Arca-Swiss Receivers, perfect for gimbals and tripods, improving setup speed and overall efficiency.
Precision-engineered to avoid obstructing camera ports and functionality, the cage maintains an ergonomic form factor while maintaining ing a secure connection to the camera body via three points of contact. The modular design allows the full cage to be disassembled into a Half Cage when needed. This provides a few less mounting options, but reduces the total weight of the system, ideal for filmmakers using gimbals or moving quickly while shooting.
The cage supports comfortable vertical configurations by allowing users to attach handles via 1/4”-20 threads, perfect for two-handed builds that improve control when shooting in a portrait orientation. The bottom of the cage features a white label area for writing the camera body and the included cable clamp allows users to secure connected cables and ensures stable signal transmission for HDMI cables.
Included in this kit is the Adjustable ARCA Receiver and Mini PD Battery Plate which provides a unique and lightweight option to mount a battery plate without traditional baseplates and 15mm rods.
The Receiver can extend to move the battery plate closer or farther from the camera body while a swivel hinge also allows users to adjust the angle of their battery relative to their camera body.
The battery plate allows users to extend the operating time of their camera and accessories via larger capacity V-Mount batteries and features multiple power output options such as a 60W PD USB-C, a P-Tap, and a 2-Pin Lemo connection.
Unique to this plate are the integrated strap slots which allows users to connect an included security strap to their V-Mount battery which limits the possibility of accidental disconnection. The battery plate also features 1/4”-20 and M4 threads on the top, allowing the unit to be easily mounted in unique ways via additional adapters or articulating arms.
