In celebration of the American Society of Cinematographers centennial, we are honored to be asked to produce a limited edition Nucleus-M and Nucleus-Nano with the ASC 100 year badge engraved on the FIZ unit.
A lot has changed since the ASC’s inception in 1919, but its dedication to the education and culture of cinematography is as strong today as it was 100 years ago. Despite changes in style, technology, and our culture – exchanging ideas, discussing techniques and promoting cinema as an art form is still the basis of why the ASC was founded.
Neither a labor union nor a guild, the ASC is a professional organization that is built upon artistry and technological progress. Membership is by invitation only, extended to directors of photography who have demonstrated outstanding ability with distinguished credits in the industry and good personal character.
We are honored to be included in the ASC’s 100th anniversary and can only imagine what the next century will bring to the art of cinematography. Learn more about the history of the ASC or its 15 founders.
This special edition of the Nucleus-M and Nucleus Nano are available now at the ASC Clubhouse Store and will soon be available in the ASC’s online store.
