The Rear Operating Control Handle gives you a more comfortable way to achieve low angle shots and provides more control than the standard Briefcase Mode.

The Joystick on the Rear Operating Control Handle gives you full control of the RS 2 Gimbal Head and the finger wheel allows you to control either the DJI Wireless Focus Motor or the Tilta Nucleus M and Nano.

The Rear Operating Control Handle connects via the Nato rails on the side of the RS 2 body and draws power from the RS 2’s Battery Handle.

The Rear Operating Control Handle also has mounting points for accessories and external monitors.

It also provides wireless control of the RS 2’s functions as well as wireless control of the Nucleus M and Nano motors so that you can adjust focus, iris, and/or zoom mid-shot.

I recommend this product

Let’s me control Nucleus-M!

I’m very happy with this product. There are a few imperfections that prevent me from giving it 5 stars. The handle disconnected from RS2 a few times. This is a very rare occurrence, but it hindered me during the shoot. The menu is clunky to navigate, closer to Tilta’s other products than RS2’s native menu. Not entirely unexpected, but the difference in UX is striking when I have the RS2 screen right here to compare. The control wheel can be assigned to control Nucleus-M motors, which is amazing. It can also control the RS2 native motor. However, it seems as though it’s impossible to assign it to any other function. It would be good to control roll with one wheel and zoom with another. Alas. Finally, I wish the handle was sturdier. There is a little bend to it sometimes, and a tiny bit of wiggle. However, the handle feels good in the hand and does its job very well.
