This quick release top handle easily and securely attaches to the top of the half and full Tiltaing camera cages.

It provides several 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 mounting points as well as one cold shoe mounting point on the front and one on the back of the handle.

A 15mm horizontal rod mount is built into the handle to allow for various rigging possibilities such as mounting an EVF or external monitor via a 15mm rod.

*Can only mount backwards on RED Komodo Top Plate*

Needs modification to work with Red Komodo

I saw the small warning that the handle only works backwards on Komodo, but I mistook what Tilta thinks is backwards. Take a dremel tool to the edge of the cold shoe mount and it will be able to slide forward that extra 1/4" needed to screw the handle in. It's pretty disappointing to buy something that immediately needs modified in order to work, but it works now.

Sturdy…but only clicks on one way

Bummer to say it’s a sturdy well made piece by Tilta as always. But trying it on my Komodo it only goes in backwards and it’s limited to its uses. Would give it higher stars if it was more versatile and had more points to add other accessories.

It does what its supposed to do well

This is a great handle. I use it on my C70 and it feels nice in my big hands. I wish they would add a mounting point for the tools like other competitors do but that's my only gripe. Outside of that it's a very solid product and I recommend it.

I recommend this product

Nice - Bad ARRI style mount 2903

The mount option I'd like to use with the locking pins is on the side. Not my favorite. It would be ideal if this mount was on the top of the handle. Everything else is nice. Small Rig mounts do not work with TILTA. Unless it's a cold shoe mount. This is alright, but I currently like the locking pins and thick 3/8th threaded screw

Thank you for the feedback! You are correct in that our locating points are based on our standard on not on the Arri standard so they are not compatible with all accessories!
