This 15mm LWS baseplate attaches to the base of the full camera cage for RED Komodo to allow you to rig essential accessories on 15mm LWS rods such as a follow focus or matte box.

Dovetail track allows you to easily slide and lock this Baseplate onto our Tilta Standard Dovetails or an ARRI Standard Dovetail via an adapter.

1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 Threads on the bottom support almost any Quick Release Plate.

Very handy and good looking

sharing the same base plate with the komodo does it make the bgh a mini komodo? kidding.
Anyway the plate allows for classic configuration on a tripod plus makes it very easy to add expansion parts such as follow focus, matte box, digital recorders and so on.
The base plate quality is excellent and and the quick release system is just a pleasure to use.
